**City:** Abu Dhabi **Country:** United Arab Emirates **Sector:** Defence & Aerospace / Industrial **Job Type:** Full-time **Seniority:** Experienced **Company Description** ----------------------- We are recruiting an experienced Accountant for a UAE-based Defence & Aerospace / Industrial organisation. **Job Description** ------------------- The Accountant will support day-to-day bookkeeping, banking transactions, reconciliations and financial administration. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Perform general bookkeeping. * Record financial transactions. * Complete bank reconciliations. * Monitor accounts payable and receivable. * Process and track bank transfers. * Support SWIFT transactions where required. * Coordinate with correspondent banks where necessary. * Maintain accounting records within Odoo. * Assist with month-end closing. * Prepare supporting financial schedules. * Support internal and external audit requirements. * Maintain accurate and complete financial documentation. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Proven accounting experience. * Strong bookkeeping skills. * Strong bank-reconciliation experience. * Experience with payment and bank-transfer processing. * SWIFT/correspondent banking exposure advantageous. * Odoo Finance or equivalent accounting-system experience. * High level of accounting accuracy. * Good English communication skills.
