Accountant (Junior)

Job Summary Noor Deira Steel Trading L.L.C. is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Finance Department immediately. The ideal candidate must have strong experience using **Tally ERP**, possess excellent knowledge of **UAE VAT regulations**, and be capable of handling daily accounting operations independently. Experience in the **steel trading or steel manufacturing industry** will be given priority. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate accounting records using **Tally ERP**. * Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and ledger postings. * Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time. * Process supplier invoices and payment vouchers. * Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier accounts. * Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). * Prepare VAT returns and ensure full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. * Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports. * Assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring. * Support internal and external audits. * Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. * Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse departments regarding financial transactions. * Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE accounting standards. * Perform other accounting duties assigned by management. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **3 years of accounting experience** in the UAE. * **Hands-on experience with Tally ERP is mandatory.** * Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT laws and tax compliance**. * Experience in **invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting**. * Experience in the **steel trading or steel manufacturing industry is highly preferred**. * Good understanding of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Preferred Candidate Priority will be given to candidates who: * Have experience in the **steel trading or steel manufacturing industry**. * Have advanced knowledge of **Tally ERP**. * Can join **immediately**. * Are currently available in the UAE.
