Bank & Treasury Accountant

This role ensures efficient utilization of funds, timely payments, and compliance with internal policies and banking requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor daily cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations * Handle bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies * Process payments (local and international transfers, WPS, supplier payments) * Coordinate with banks for account opening, KYC, and banking facilities (POS, loans, guarantees, etc.) * Manage and track post-dated cheques (PDCs) and collections * Oversee treasury-related accounting entries and ensure proper recording in the system * Monitor loan schedules, interest calculations, and repayments * Assist in managing foreign exchange transactions and exposure * Prepare treasury reports (daily bank position, fund utilization reports) * Ensure compliance with company policies and banking regulations * Support audits by providing required treasury documents and reconciliations **Key Skills & Competencies** * Strong knowledge of cash management and banking operations * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) * Advanced Excel skills * Attention to detail and strong analytical skills * Good communication and coordination with banks and internal teams **Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field * 3–5 years of experience in treasury/accounting roles (preferably in a corporate environment) * Experience working with multiple bank accounts and large transaction volumes * Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage. **What do we offer:** · Competitive salary. · Medical Insurance. · Opportunities for career growth. **Note to Candidates:** · Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. .
