Role Description The Davinci role is a contract, on-site position based in Erbil at Rudaw Media Network’s headquarters. The person in this role will work closely with editorial, production, and technical teams to support visual and content creation workflows, ensuring materials are accurate, clear, and aligned with Rudaw’s standards. Daily tasks may include helping prepare and organize multimedia assets, assisting in content refinement and adaptation for different platforms, and coordinating with colleagues to meet tight news deadlines. The role requires consistent on-site collaboration, responsiveness to evolving newsroom needs, and adherence to editorial guidelines and ethical standards. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Kurdish language skills are a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced newsroom environment and work under deadline pressure. High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in handling content and visual materials. Basic familiarity with media production workflows or digital content tools; experience in news or broadcasting is preferred. Demonstrated interest in Kurdistan, the Middle East, and international current affairs. Ability to work on-site in Erbil and maintain a professional, inclusive approach with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Relevant academic background in Media, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
