Electrical Engineer

**Position:** Electrical Engineer **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Industry:** Construction – Main Contractor (High-Rise Building) Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical works for a high-rise building project in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities * Supervise all electrical installation works including Power Distribution, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, ELV Systems, Fire Alarm, Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Low Current Systems. * Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, technical specifications, and method statements. * Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. * Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, Dubai Civil Defense requirements, and project specifications. * Monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues during execution. * Conduct inspections to ensure installations meet quality and safety standards. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Participate in coordination and progress meetings with clients and consultants. * Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems. * Verify completed work quantities for subcontractor billing. * Maintain project documentation, inspection reports, and as-built records. * Ensure strict adherence to HSE requirements on site. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum **5 years** of experience with a Main Contractor, preferably on UAE high-rise building projects. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems including LV Distribution, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, Earthing, and Lightning Protection. * Good understanding of DEWA and Dubai Civil Defense requirements. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software. * Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications * UAE driving license is an advantage. * Experience in testing & commissioning of electrical systems. * Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an added advantage. Work Location: In person
