Estimation Engineer

**ull job description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Estimator to join our contracting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and timely bid submissions. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and tender documents. * Review project drawings, specifications and requirements. * Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams. * Analyze project costs and recommend cost-effective solutions. * Attend meetings with clients and project stakeholders as required. * Ensure all estimates are completed within deadlines and company standards. * Support project planning and execution through accurate budget forecasting. * Make independent decisions that contribute positively to project success and company objectives. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in estimation and cost analysis. * Strong knowledge of construction/project estimation procedures. * Experience in client coordination and site coordination. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently without supervision. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Professional, responsible and capable of making decisions in the best interest of the company. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimation software. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with tendering processes and contract documentation. * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation methods. * Experience in estimating commercial, residential, and industrial projects. * Knowledge of local suppliers and subcontractors. * Experience with cost control and procurement coordination.
