Geotechnical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in geotechnical engineering with a strong background in the design and execution of shoring and piling systems. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering. Master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering is highly preferred. Previous experience working in the UAE is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of: Shoring systems (Secant Piles, Soldier Piles, Sheet Piles, Anchors, etc.). Piling systems (Bored Piles, Micropiles, CFA, Driven Piles, etc.). Foundation engineering and excavation support. Geotechnical analysis and structural design of retaining systems. Ability to prepare: Design calculations. Technical reports. Shop drawings and design details. Method statements and engineering submissions. Good understanding of construction methodology and site execution for piling and shoring works. Familiarity with international design standards (Eurocodes, BS Standards, CIRIA, etc.). Experience with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, LPILE, or equivalent is an advantage. Excellent communication and report writing skills in English. Responsibilities: Prepare geotechnical and structural designs for shoring and piling systems. Perform engineering calculations and numerical analyses. Review soil investigation reports and select appropriate design parameters. Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and site teams. Provide technical support during construction and resolve site engineering issues. Prepare technical reports, design submissions, and respond to consultant comments.
