Site Supervisor/Manager – Projects & Maintenance

**Job Title:** Site Supervisor/Manager – Projects & Maintenance **Employment Type:** Full Time **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Department:** Projects & Facilities / Maintenance **Role Description:** We are looking for a Site Engineer to supervise building construction activities and oversee daily maintenance operations. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, AMC contract management, material quality checks, and work estimates for our warehouse’s buildings and other projects. This role requires someone with strong construction basics who can coordinate between contractors, vendors, and management. **Key Responsibilities** **Construction & Site Supervision** * Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is as per approved drawings and specifications. * Monitor contractor performance, workmanship quality, and HSE compliance on site. * Read and interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings. * Prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos for management. * Raise RFIs, track snags, and coordinate with consultants for clarifications. * Prepare work estimates, BOQs, and material requisitions. **Maintenance & AMC Management** * Supervise in-house maintenance team and daily facility operations. * Review and manage AMC contracts for Firefighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, DG, etc. * Check SLA compliance, vendor performance, and work completion certificates. * Verify invoices against actual work done before forwarding for payment. * Handle and close tenant/client complaints within defined SLA. **Quality & Material Control** * Inspect quantity and quality of materials delivered to each site. * Check test certificates, material submittals, and ensure compliance. * Maintain material issue register and site stock records. * Ensure proper storage and handling of materials. **Reporting & Coordination** * Maintain asset register for all buildings, equipment, and tools. * Prepare monthly maintenance and project cost reports. * Coordinate with procurement, finance, and other departments. * Support in handover process and preparation of as-built drawings. **Qualifications & Skills** **Education** * B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience. **Experience** * 2 to 5 years experience in building construction and facility maintenance. * Experience in UAE/GCC is preferred. **Required Skills** * Strong knowledge of civil construction basics: RCC, masonry, finishing, waterproofing. * Basic understanding of MEP systems, especially Firefighting systems. * Ability to read drawings, BOQ, and prepare estimates. * Good knowledge of AMC contracts, SLA, and vendor management. * Proficient in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD basics. * Good communication and reporting skills. **Personal Attributes** * Detail oriented and proactive. * Able to work independently on multiple sites. * Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage. **Benefits** * Competitive salary + accommodation/allowance as per company policy. * Visa, medical insurance as per UAE labour law. * Opportunity to work on multiple projects and warehouses. **Share CV:** [email protected] ***AMIT is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
