Industrial Planning Engineer

**Role Overview:** We are seeking a skilled **Industrial Project Planning Engineer** to manage project scheduling activities, monitor execution progress, and support effective project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to establish project timelines, evaluate performance, identify potential delays, and ensure activities are completed in line with project objectives. **Key Duties & Responsibilities:** * Create, update, and control project schedules based on contractual requirements, execution plans, and project priorities. * Review ongoing activities and measure actual progress against planned targets to identify deviations. * Collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and site teams to gather updates and maintain accurate project status. * Prepare progress reports, planning summaries, and management updates highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming activities. * Assist in developing project baselines, milestone tracking systems, and short-term execution plans. * Monitor project resources, productivity trends, material status, and activity sequencing to support smooth operations. * Evaluate schedule risks and recommend corrective measures to improve project completion timelines. * Track engineering submissions, material deliveries, production stages, and installation activities throughout the project lifecycle. * Maintain organized planning records, progress documentation, and project control reports. * Participate in coordination meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-making. **Candidate Profile:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field. * 3–5 years of professional experience in planning and project controls within industrial, construction, fabrication, or engineering environments. * Practical understanding of project scheduling techniques, progress evaluation, and performance monitoring. * Proficiency in planning software such as **Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling platforms**. * Ability to interpret project documents, technical drawings, and execution requirements. * Experience coordinating with multiple teams involved in engineering, supply chain, production, and field activities. * Strong problem-solving ability with excellent organizational and reporting skills. * Effective communication skills with the ability to work with project teams and stakeholders. **Advantageous Experience:** * Previous involvement in industrial facilities, EPC projects, steel fabrication, structural works, PEB systems, metal fabrication, or large-scale construction projects. * Experience supporting contractor, consultant, or client coordination activities will be preferred.
