Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer** to supervise and coordinate interior fit-out works on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and office fit-out projects. **Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution** * Supervise daily interior fit-out activities at the project site. * Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Coordinate all site activities to achieve project milestones. * Monitor project progress and report daily work status. * Ensure timely completion of assigned work packages. * Verify completed work before consultant and client inspections. * Resolve day-to-day site execution issues. **Project Coordination** * Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, Architects, and Subcontractors. * Attend project coordination and progress meetings. * Coordinate engineering, procurement, and site execution activities. * Follow up on material approvals and site requirements. * Ensure smooth communication between office and site teams. **Construction Supervision** * Supervise installation of gypsum partitions and ceilings. * Monitor flooring works including tiles, marble, vinyl, SPC, carpet, and wooden flooring. * Supervise ceiling systems, painting, decorative finishes, and wall cladding. * Coordinate joinery installation including doors, wardrobes, kitchens, counters, and custom furniture. * Supervise glass, aluminium, and partition installations. * Coordinate MEP activities with interior fit-out works. * Monitor final finishing and snagging activities. **Planning & Scheduling** * Prepare daily and weekly work plans. * Monitor project schedules and site progress. * Coordinate manpower and subcontractor activities. * Track material availability to avoid project delays. * Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules. * Report delays and recommend corrective actions. **Quality Control** * Ensure work complies with approved drawings and specifications. * Conduct site inspections before consultant inspections. * Coordinate with QA/QC teams during inspections. * Monitor workmanship quality. * Rectify non-conformance issues. * Ensure project quality standards are maintained. **Material Management** * Verify materials received at site. * Ensure approved materials are used during installation. * Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage. * Coordinate material requests with procurement and stores. * Maintain material records and inventory. **Health, Safety & Environment** * Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations. * Conduct toolbox talks with site teams. * Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers. * Report unsafe conditions immediately. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. **Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. * Maintain site diaries and work records. * Track RFIs, inspections, and approvals. * Coordinate preparation of as-built information. * Maintain project documentation and site records. * Prepare snag lists and monitor close-out activities. **Client & Consultant Coordination** * Attend inspections with consultants and clients. * Coordinate approvals for completed works. * Resolve technical issues raised during inspections. * Maintain professional relationships with project stakeholders. * Ensure client requirements are implemented. **Project Close-Out** * Coordinate final inspections. * Complete snag rectification works. * Assist in project handover documentation. * Ensure all punch list items are completed. * Support project close-out and final handover. **General Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with company policies and project procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain confidentiality of project information. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management. **RequirementsEducation** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Engineering, or a related field. **Experience** * 3–7 years of experience in interior fit-out, commercial fit-out, or building construction projects. * UAE/GCC experience is preferred. * Experience in office, retail, hospitality, residential, healthcare, or commercial fit-out projects. **Technical Skills** * Ability to read IFC drawings, shop drawings, and interior fit-out details. * Good knowledge of gypsum works, joinery, flooring, ceiling systems, painting, glass, aluminium, and finishing works. * Understanding of MEP coordination. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of project scheduling and progress reporting. **Core Competencies** * Strong site sup
