IT & Cybersecurity Audit Supervisor

Region Trade Bank is seeking an experienced IT & Cybersecurity Audit Supervisor to join our Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing internal audit engagements related to information technology, cybersecurity, information security, banking systems, IT infrastructure, and technology risk management while ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise IT and cybersecurity audit engagements in line with the approved audit plan and risk-based audit methodology. Assess IT governance frameworks, technology risk management practices, and cybersecurity controls. Evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGC), including access management, change management, incident management, backup and recovery processes. Review the security and integrity of banking applications, digital banking platforms, and supporting systems. Assess vulnerability management, penetration testing programs, and remediation activities. Evaluate cyber incident monitoring, detection, response, and recovery processes. Review business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience arrangements. Assess third-party technology and cybersecurity risks, including outsourced and cloud-based services. Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to management. Monitor corrective actions and ensure effective remediation of identified issues. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and supervision to IT auditors and contribute to the development of audit methodologies. Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Telecommunications/Network Engineering, or a related field. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology, IT Audit, Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Technology Risk, or related fields. At least 3 years of experience in IT Audit, Cybersecurity Audit, Information Security Assurance, or a similar function is highly preferred. Banking or financial sector experience is strongly preferred. Proven experience leading or supervising IT and cybersecurity audit engagements. Professional Certifications (Preferred) CISA CISSP CISM CRISC ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer COBIT-related certifications or other relevant professional qualifications.
