IT Infrastructure Manager **I-Hitechs** **Location:** Tunis Street, Hawalli, Hawalli Governorate, Kuwait **Salary:** **KWD 1,900 per month** Job Overview I-Hitechs is seeking a highly skilled and strategic **IT Infrastructure Manager** to lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure. Based in Hawalli, Kuwait, this role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise systems, networks, servers, and cloud environments while supporting business growth through innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives. * Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of servers, storage, networks, and cloud infrastructure. * Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise IT systems and services. * Manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments. * Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and improve efficiency. * Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers, system administrators, and technical support staff. * Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to protect critical business data. * Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security policies, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements. * Oversee IT asset management, vendor relationships, software licensing, and procurement activities. * Prepare infrastructure documentation, operational reports, budgets, and capacity planning forecasts. * Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration, or network engineering, including leadership experience. * Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), and enterprise networking. * Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V, storage systems, and backup solutions. * Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery planning. * Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP, AWS Certified, ITIL, or equivalent are highly desirable. * Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced technology environment.
