IT Support Engineer

Vostok Trading L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer** with a minimum of **7 years of hands-on experience** in enterprise IT infrastructure, server administration, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, cybersecurity, storage solutions, and technical support. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization's complete IT infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and business continuity. The role requires expertise in Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, enterprise storage, firewalls, backup solutions, cloud technologies, databases, CCTV/VMS systems, and end-user support. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, administer, and maintain **Windows Server** and **Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)** environments. * Manage **Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print Server, WSUS**, and related Microsoft services. * Administer **Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD)**, and Microsoft Teams. * Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise **LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, Routing, Switching, Wireless Networks**, and structured cabling. * Configure and manage enterprise **FortiGate Firewalls**, security policies, IPSec/SSL VPNs, NAT, SD-WAN, IPS, Web Filtering, and security profiles. * Deploy and manage virtualization platforms such as **VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and KVM**. * Install and maintain **NAS, SAN, RAID controllers, iSCSI storage, Fibre Channel storage**, and backup systems. * Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using enterprise backup software. * Manage cloud infrastructure including **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, and AWS** (preferred). * Install, configure, and troubleshoot **SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL**, and database connectivity. * Support enterprise applications, ERP systems, and business-critical software. * Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other IT peripherals. * Monitor system performance, server health, storage utilization, and network availability. * Perform server patching, firmware upgrades, operating system upgrades, and preventive maintenance. * Implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening. * Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and server issues. * Configure and maintain enterprise **CCTV, VMS, NVR/DVR, IP cameras**, and video storage solutions. * Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, asset inventory, network diagrams, and system configurations. * Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, ISPs, and third-party service providers. * Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to users and mentor junior IT staff. * Participate in IT infrastructure planning, upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement projects. * Ensure compliance with IT security policies, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * **Minimum 7 years** of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and technical support. * Strong expertise in **Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V/KVM, enterprise networking, FortiGate firewalls, storage, backup, cloud platforms, virtualization, databases, and cybersecurity**. * Experience with **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, or AWS** is an advantage. * Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies, RAID, SAN/NAS, and backup solutions. * Experience with **CCTV/VMS platforms** (Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar) is preferred. * Professional certifications such as **CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE or equivalent), Fortinet FCP/NSE, VMware VCP, Linux, ITIL**, or cloud certifications are highly desirable.
