Junior Account Executive

Junior Accountant (E-commerce) Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site) Salary: AED 3,000/month (Up to AED 4,000 for candidates with strong relevant experience) We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team on-site in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of experience in an e-commerce company and be confident in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and analyzing the profitability of online sales and marketing campaigns. Responsibilities * Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records. * Record daily financial transactions. * Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways (Shopify Payments, Stripe, etc.), and cash transactions. * Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. * Calculate and monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit, and net profit. * Track inventory costs and ensure accurate COGS reporting. * Analyze the profitability of Meta, Facebook, Google, and other marketing campaigns by comparing: * Advertising spend * Sales generated * COGS * Operating expenses * Gross and net profit * Prepare reports to determine whether marketing campaigns are profitable and identify key financial insights. * Organize invoices, receipts, and financial records. * Assist with VAT, month-end closing, and other accounting tasks. Requirements * 3–4 years of accounting experience in an e-commerce company. * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial statements, P&L, and COGS. * Experience reconciling bank accounts and payment gateways. * Experience with Shopify and e-commerce accounting is highly preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
