Junior Accountant

Our services include emergency and preventive car care at customers' locations and at our service center in Al Quoz. **Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced General Accountant with a solid understanding of journal entries, general ledger (GL) accounting, and IFRS standards. If you are hands-on with ERP software like Zoho Books or QuickBooks, and have a knack for detailed financial analysis, we invite you to join our team in the UAE. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Journal Entries & General Ledger (GL) -** * Prepare and post journal entries: accruals, prepaids, depreciation, reclassifications. * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. * Ensure all transactions are properly coded and documented. * **Month-End & Year-End Closing -** * Support month-end and year-end closing cycles. * Prepare trial balance, income statement (P&L), and balance sheet. * Perform reconciliations for bank, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll. * **Financial Reporting & Compliance -** * Assist in preparing financial reports: profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow. * Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and internal policies. * Liaise with auditors and assist with audit documentation and tax filings. * **Systems & Process Improvement -** * Work with ERP systems (Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). * Use advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for data analysis. * Recommend and implement improvements for reporting and reconciliation processes. * **Cross-Functional Coordination -** * Work closely with Finance, AP, AR, and Operations teams. * Provide data and insights for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in a general accounting, GL accounting, or financial reporting role. * Proficiency in ERP software (Zoho Books preferred). * Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, reporting automation). * Knowledge of IFRS and audit procedures. * Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. **Benefits** * Company Visa * Paid Leave & Airfare * Medical Insurance **How to Apply:** If you are passionate about automotive care and possess the skills required for this position, we invite you to apply by sending your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience to **[email protected]** Please include the position title in the subject line of your email.
