Land Surveyor – High-Rise Construction (Main Contractor)

Job Summary The Land Surveyor is responsible for all surveying and setting-out activities on site, including establishing project control points, transferring grid lines and levels, verifying structural elements, and preparing as-built surveys. The role ensures construction accuracy and compliance with approved drawings and authority requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesSurveying & Setting Out * Establish project control points, benchmarks, and gridlines. * Set out foundations, columns, walls, slabs, and core walls. * Transfer gridlines and levels to upper floors. * Verify dimensions before construction activities begin. * Conduct layout surveys for architectural and MEP works. Structural Survey * Set out pile caps, rafts, retaining walls, and structural elements. * Verify verticality and alignment of columns and walls. * Check slab levels and dimensions. * Assist with tower crane and hoist positioning. As-Built Survey * Prepare as-built surveys for completed works. * Verify completed works against approved drawings. * Prepare survey reports for consultant/client approval. Coordination * Work closely with Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, and Construction Managers. * Coordinate with subcontractors for setting-out requirements. * Assist planning and technical teams with survey data. * Equipment Management * Operate and maintain: * Total Station * Auto Level * Digital Level * GPS/GNSS equipment (where applicable) * Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and maintained. Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of UAE experience with a main contractor.
