MEP BIM Engineer

Job Title **MEP BIM Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing)** **Experience Required:** Minimum **3+ Years** (Post-Graduation) **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Location:** Dubai, UAE / Remote (Based on Project Requirements) Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated **MEP BIM Engineer** with a minimum of **3 years of professional BIM experience after graduation** to join our growing BIM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing high-quality MEP BIM models for commercial, residential, infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and construction documentation while adhering to BIM standards and project requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Modeling * Develop accurate MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit. * Create Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems as per project requirements. * Produce LOD 200, 300, 350, 400, and 500 models. * Develop coordinated BIM models from design drawings. * Maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. BIM Coordination * Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Civil, and other MEP disciplines. * Participate in BIM coordination meetings. * Resolve interdisciplinary clashes. * Maintain coordination logs. * Support design and construction coordination. Clash Detection * Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage. * Generate clash reports. * Resolve clashes with project stakeholders. * Track clash resolution progress. Construction Documentation * Prepare: * Shop Drawings * Coordination Drawings * Builders Work Drawings * Sleeve Drawings * Section Details * Installation Details * As-Built Drawings BIM Standards * Follow ISO 19650 and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP). * Maintain BIM standards, templates, and families. * Ensure naming conventions comply with company standards. * Follow QA/QC procedures. Quantity Take-Off * Generate BOQs from BIM models. * Extract schedules. * Prepare quantity reports. * Validate model quantities. Model Quality Control * Perform regular model audits. * Ensure model accuracy. * Verify parameters. * Check worksets and linked models. * Maintain model health and performance. Collaboration * Coordinate with: * BIM Coordinators * BIM Managers * Project Engineers * Design Consultants * Site Engineers * Contractors * Clients * Participate in weekly BIM review meetings. Documentation * Maintain model revisions. * Update BIM documentation. * Prepare BIM deliverables. * Maintain issue trackers.
