MEP Coordinator

**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **MEP Coordinator** to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that MEP works are executed according to project specifications, schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements while coordinating effectively with consultants, contractors, and project teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works throughout the project lifecycle. * Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to identify and resolve design conflicts before execution. * Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Monitor site progress and ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and local authority requirements. * Prepare and manage MEP work schedules in alignment with the overall construction program. * Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, workmanship, and compliance with safety standards. * Identify and resolve technical issues, RFIs, and coordination clashes in a timely manner. * Attend project coordination meetings and provide progress updates and technical support. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. * Ensure all inspections, approvals, and documentation are completed as required. * Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of work. * Support procurement by reviewing material submittals, technical specifications, and supplier documentation. * Maintain accurate project records, reports, and as-built documentation. * Ensure compliance with company quality standards, HSE policies, and applicable codes and regulations. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * 5–10 years of experience in MEP coordination within building construction projects. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and building services systems. * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination is preferred. * Familiarity with local authority regulations and construction standards. * Strong understanding of testing and commissioning procedures. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments. * Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks. * Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. **Key Competencies** * Technical coordination * Planning and scheduling * Problem-solving and decision-making * Teamwork and collaboration * Quality management * Safety awareness * Time management * Attention to detail * Effective communication **Employment Type** Full-time **Reporting To** Project Manager / Construction Manager Work Location: In person
