MEP Estimation Engineer

**Job Title: MEP Estimator** **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Experience:** 3–5 years (UAE experience preferred) **Industry:** Construction / MEP Contracting **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **MEP Estimator** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, pricing, and tender procedures. **Key Responsibilities** * Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract requirements. * Prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works. * Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and bid summaries. * Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, and project teams during tender preparation. * Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs. * Analyze project risks and prepare contingency estimates. * Maintain updated records of material, labor, and equipment costs. * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required. * Ensure tender submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines. * Support post-tender negotiations and clarifications with clients. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in **Electrical Engineering** * **3–5 years of UAE experience** as an MEP Estimator. * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, and quantity take-offs. * Experience in pricing commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software. * Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications. * Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines Work Location: In person
