**Project Accountant** **United Contracting Company – Dubai, UAE** **Job Summary:** United Contracting Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Project Accountant** to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring accurate accounting records for construction projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and control project costs and budgets. * Prepare project cost reports and profitability analysis. * Track project revenues, expenses, and work-in-progress (WIP). * Process project-related invoices, payments, and subcontractor accounts. * Reconcile project accounts and ensure accurate financial records. * Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports. * Coordinate with project managers to review project performance and cost variances. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. * Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. * Assist with internal and external audits. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **3–5 years of experience** as a Project Accountant, preferably in a contracting or construction company in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
