Project Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineering & Execution * Manage and oversee the day-to-day engineering and construction activities across assigned work areas. * Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, and contractual requirements. * Plan, organize, and monitor work activities to achieve project milestones within the approved programme. * Coordinate with Site Engineers to ensure workfront readiness, resource availability, and uninterrupted project execution. * Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents prior to implementation. * Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues to minimize delays and maintain productivity. Project Coordination * Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, QA/QC, HSSE, Planning, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution. * Manage subcontractor activities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. * Liaise with Consultants, Clients, and Authorities to obtain technical approvals, inspections, and project clearances. * Participate in progress review meetings and provide engineering updates, risk assessments, and action plans. Planning & Progress Monitoring * Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress against the approved baseline programme. * Identify potential delays and implement corrective or recovery measures in coordination with the Planning Engineer. * Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and construction materials. * Support look-ahead planning and resource forecasting to maintain project continuity. Technical Management * Provide technical guidance to Site Engineers and supervisory staff during project execution. * Review Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submittals, material approvals, and engineering correspondence. * Ensure implementation of approved shop drawings and engineering revisions. * Coordinate design clarifications with consultants and engineering teams whenever required. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. * Minimum 4 **years of experience** in building construction projects. * UAE construction experience is highly preferred. * Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments. * Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, construction methodologies, and engineering standards. **Required Candidates share CV to [email protected]** Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
