Project Engineer - Landscape/ Swimming Pool Experience

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Execution & Coordination * Assist the Project Manager in managing daily project activities from commencement to completion. * Coordinate and monitor landscaping, swimming pool, irrigation, water feature, hardscape, softscape, and civil works activities. * Ensure site execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. * Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and technical challenges. * Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. 2. Technical Support & Documentation * Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions. * Prepare technical reports, site records, material approvals, and project documentation. * Assist in resolving technical queries and construction-related issues. * Coordinate with engineering and design teams for drawing clarifications and approvals. * Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 3. Site Supervision & Progress Monitoring * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements. * Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities. * Ensure works are completed within approved timelines. * Monitor installation activities including: * Swimming pool structures and filtration systems * Irrigation networks * Landscape lighting coordination * Hardscape and paving works * Softscape and plantation works * Water features * Drainage and civil works 4. Quality Control & HSE Compliance * Ensure all works comply with QA/QC procedures, project specifications, and client requirements. * Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams, consultants, and clients. * Support preparation of inspection requests, checklists, and quality records. * Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations. * Assist in identifying and rectifying quality issues and site observations. 5. Procurement & Resource Coordination * Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. * Verify material requirements based on project schedules and site requirements. * Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance. * Support efficient utilization of project resources. 6. Project Reporting & Handover Support * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Maintain records of site activities, inspections, approvals, and project correspondence. * Assist in preparing variation documents, as-built drawings, and handover documentation. * Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover activities. 7. Client & Consultant Coordination * Attend project meetings and technical discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. * Follow up on approvals, comments, and technical requirements. * Maintain effective communication and coordination among all parties. * Support resolution of project-related issues. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline. * Minimum **5–8 years of UAE experience** in project engineering within landscaping, swimming pools, irrigation, civil, MEP, or technical works projects. * Proven experience in project execution, site coordination, and technical support. * Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and project documentation.
