QA/QC Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality results. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans and procedures. * Review project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements to ensure compliance. * Conduct inspections and witness testing of materials, equipment, and completed work. * Ensure all construction, manufacturing, or engineering activities comply with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements. * Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, method statements, and quality logs. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on quality-related matters. * Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until closure. * Support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. * Monitor material approvals, inspection requests (IRs), and work inspection requests (WIRs). * Verify calibration records for testing and measuring equipment. * Provide quality-related training and guidance to project personnel as required. * Monitor project quality performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. * Prepare quality reports and present quality performance metrics to project management. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. * Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and quality management systems. * Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant international standards. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and coordination abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation software. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working on large-scale EPC, construction, or industrial projects. * Knowledge of applicable international codes and standards (ASTM, ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.) relevant to the industry.
