QA/QC Engineer

**QA/QC Engineer** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical Engineer)** with a strong background in testing and commissioning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical / mechanical systems, extensive knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Roles & Responsibilities:** * Review contractor submissions, including material submittals, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), commissioning procedures, testing protocols, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Inspection Requests (IRs), ensuring compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards. * Witness and verify installation, pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities to confirm compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and quality requirements. * Review and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Testing (IST), functional performance testing, and commissioning activities, verifying that test results meet project acceptance criteria. * Coordinate with contractors, vendors, specialist suppliers, and the commissioning team to ensure timely execution of testing and commissioning activities and resolution of quality-related issues. * Identify, document, and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs) and commissioning deficiencies through to satisfactory close-out. * Review commissioning documentation, test records, calibration certificates, inspection reports to ensure completeness, traceability, and compliance. * Support the development and monitoring of commissioning schedules, system completion status, and readiness for energization, start-up, and client acceptance. * Prepare QA/QC and commissioning progress reports, inspection summaries, NCR status reports, and quality metrics for weekly and monthly project reporting. * Participate in quality audits, technical reviews, commissioning meetings, and system walkdowns, providing recommendations to improve quality and ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements. * Review and verify as-built drawings, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, commissioning dossiers, final test reports, and handover documentation prior to project completion and client acceptance. * Prepare, coordinate, and raise all Inspection Requests (IRs) in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records to ensure traceability, compliance, and timely closure of inspection activities. **Qualification:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical /Mechanical) or other relevant specialty. * Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, including in Electrical/Mechanical engineering. * Knowledge of ISO 9001 and project quality management systems. * Proficient in generating and managing quality documentation and reports. * Familiarity with quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and testing procedures. * Strong communication and coordination skills to work within a multicultural team environment. * Proficiency in using quality management software and MS Office applications. * Strong knowledge of local construction codes, standards, and regulations. * Fluency in English is an advantage.
