QS Engineer

Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents. Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Prepare and submit client interim payment applications. Evaluate and certify subcontractor payment applications. Prepare, negotiate, and manage Variation Orders (VOs) and claims. Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow. Maintain accurate cost records and prepare periodic cost reports. Review subcontract agreements and ensure contractual compliance. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients regarding commercial matters. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare procurement comparisons and recommendations. Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation measures. Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Maintain proper documentation for all commercial and contractual activities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost control. Good understanding of FIDIC contracts is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software. Skills Quantity Take-off and Measurement.
