Senior Network Engineer - Infrastructure (TPA/Insurance)

**1. JOB PURPOSE** The job holder is responsible for handle configuring and supporting firewalls to ensure network security. They are also responsible for procuring equipment like routers or switches, which provides the best possible efficiency in an office's IT infrastructure. **2. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** § Hands on experience on Voice communication especially Avaya. § Hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet, Aruba NAC solution, Pep-link SDWAN. § Hands on experience with Network segmentation/subnetting. § Hands on experience with multiple sites: head office & Branches connectivity with Cloud data center. § Maintain complete technical documentation and Network architecture diagrams. § Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability § Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations § Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability and improve network performance for all systems § Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning § Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues § Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure § Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team § Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution § Maintaining computer networks including VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware inventory up to date. § Maintaining firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected § Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management § Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems. § Communicate with users when needed **3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** * Proven hands-on network engineering experience * CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued) * Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) * Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model * Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools * Familiarity with access control models and network security * University degree in Computer Science or a related subject. Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
