Senior Procurement Engineer

Job Title: Senior Procurement Engineer **Location:** UAE **Salary:** AED 8,000 – 10,000 per month (Based on experience) Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced **Senior Procurement Engineer** with **5–6 years of UAE/GCC experience** in procurement within the construction industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, technical knowledge of construction materials, and hands-on experience with **ERP systems** for procurement and inventory management. Key Responsibilities * Manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction projects. * Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best commercial terms. * Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, bid comparisons, and procurement documentation. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely material delivery. * Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards. * Maintain strong relationships with vendors and identify new suppliers. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications. * Track procurement budgets and assist in cost optimization initiatives. * Maintain accurate procurement records using the company's **ERP system**. * Resolve procurement-related issues and expedite urgent material requirements. * Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to management. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. * **5–6 years of procurement experience**, preferably in the UAE construction industry. * Hands-on experience working with **ERP systems** (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar). * Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures. * Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. * Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms, and procurement documentation. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications * UAE construction industry experience. * Immediate joiners will be preferred. * Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
