Senior Purchaser - Construction

**Job Title: Senior Purchaser – Construction** **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Salary:** AED 8,000 – 13,000 A well-established UAE construction contractor specializing in residential, commercial, and high-end building projects is looking for an experienced **Senior Purchaser** to manage end-to-end procurement for ongoing construction projects. This role requires strong UAE market knowledge, supplier relationships, and the ability to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement while supporting project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for multiple projects. * Review BOQs, material requests, specifications, and procurement schedules to ensure timely purchasing. * Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE construction market. * Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and recommend purchase orders for approval. * Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, and Accounts to meet project timelines. * Ensure all purchased materials comply with approved specifications, project requirements, and quality standards. * Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies related to LPOs, delivery notes, and invoices. * Maintain procurement records, vendor database, procurement reports, and ERP documentation while ensuring compliance with internal approval processes. **Requirements** * **5+ years of UAE procurement experience within the construction industry is mandatory.** * Strong experience purchasing construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, structural materials, and subcontractor services. * Ability to read BOQs, technical specifications, and construction drawings. * Proven negotiation, vendor management, and cost control experience. * Hands-on experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. * Strong knowledge of the UAE construction supplier network. * Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills. **Only candidates with relevant UAE construction procurement experience will be considered.** Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have 5+ years of UAE experience as a Purchaser/Senior Purchaser in a construction contracting company? * Have you handled purchasing of construction materials like civil, MEP, and finishing materials for building projects? * Can you read BOQs/material requests and compare supplier quotations before placing orders? * Do you have experience negotiating prices with UAE suppliers and following up on material deliveries to site? * Have you worked on an ERP system for preparing LPOs and maintaining procurement records? * Are you willing to join within the range between AED8000 - AED13,000?
