We are seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of advanced robotic systems and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in robotics, welding systems with robots, control systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and industrial automation. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative robotic solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement robotic systems for industrial applications in welding, surface preparation and coating. Lead the development of robotic hardware and software architectures. Develop motion planning, navigation, and control algorithms. Program robots using ROS (Robot Operating System), C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages. Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, machine vision, and AI technologies into robotic systems. Develop and optimize autonomous navigation and robotic manipulation systems. Conduct system simulations, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system specifications. Lead prototype development through production deployment. Troubleshoot robotic systems and provide technical support. Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. Mentor junior robotics engineers and provide technical leadership. Evaluate emerging robotics technologies and recommend innovative solutions. Qualifications Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience specific to robotics. Strong experience with industrial robots such as ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and open-source robots. Sound conceptual knowledge of quadrupeds, humanoids and rovers. Proficiency in ROS/ROS2. Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and MATLAB. Extensive knowledge of AI, machine learning, and computer vision. Proficiency with robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems. Experience using simulation tools such as Gazebo, MATLAB Simulink, or RViz. Experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) or automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Knowledge of SLAM, path planning, and computer vision. Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
