Senior Structural Engineer

Mira Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Structural Engineer. The work-format: Head office supervision. Working schedule 6 days per week from Monday to Saturday and Sunday is off. **Responsibilities**: * Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of structural-related works. * Coordinate the activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team. * Review of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other activities. * Coordinate with design engineers for resolution of related issues. * Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors. * Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable. * Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work. * Ensure accuracy and completeness of records. * Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project. * Prepare / Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports. * Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings within his line of work. * Keep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the structural works to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary final clearance. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering * Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design and construction, with a strong focus on buildings. * Knowledge of local Authority standards and regulations is essential. * Proficiency in utilising CAD, Revit and other PC software packages associated with structural modelling, analysis and design. * Experience working in construction field in UAE for minimum 5 years. * English level proficiency. **Benefits** * Competitive salary; * Official UAE employment status; * Comprehensive medical insurance coverage;
