System Engineer - Kurdish Speaking (Oracle & Linux)

Metanoia Training and Consulting is seeking a hands-on System Engineer for a contract-based independent service engagement in Erbil. Applicants must currently reside in Erbil and be available for full-time on-site service. This is not a remote-only opportunity. Responsibilities • Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Linux/RHEL systems and applications. • Provide L1/L2 technical support, investigate incidents and analyse logs. • Support basic Oracle/database troubleshooting within assigned access permissions. • Monitor performance and assist with authorised system changes. • Maintain clear technical documentation, service reports and handover notes. • Communicate professionally with technical teams and users. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. • Practical Linux/RHEL system administration and troubleshooting experience. • Relevant Oracle/database support knowledge. • Scripting skills and familiarity with virtualisation and monitoring tools. • Professional English and strong spoken Kurdish for day-to-day communication. • Reliable on-site availability in Erbil and a professional approach to confidentiality.
