Technical Engineer

We’re Hiring: Technical Engineer | Erbil Empire MENA is looking for a Technical Engineer to join our Production & Manufacturing Department in Erbil. We are looking for someone who understands how to take a design and turn it into a production-ready project for the workshop. Key Responsibilities Review designs for exhibition booths, retail interiors, display stands, counters, kiosks, and custom furniture Prepare Shop Drawings, technical details, dimensions, cutting lists, and material requirements Determine suitable materials, manufacturing methods, and installation details Clearly hand over technical information to carpenters and production teams Follow up during manufacturing and ensure execution matches the approved design Coordinate with CNC, metalwork, printing, painting, and other production departments Solve technical issues during production and minimize errors and material waste Requirements Engineering or relevant technical background Practical experience in Fit-Out, Exhibitions, Retail Displays, Furniture Manufacturing, or similar fields Strong knowledge of MDF, wood, acrylic, metal, and related materials Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp or other 3D software knowledge is a plus Strong understanding of workshop production and manufacturing methods Location: Erbil, Iraq Work Environment: Workshop / Production-Based We are specifically looking for someone with real hands-on manufacturing experience, not only a design background. The ideal candidate should be able to receive a design, understand how it will actually be manufactured, prepare the required technical details, and confidently hand it over to the production team.
