**Technical Sales & Design Engineer – Smart Home & Building Automation Location:** Dubai, UAE **Experience:** 5 Years Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales & Design Engineer to support our Smart Home and Building Automation division. The role involves site surveys, system design, estimation, technical proposal preparation, and sales coordination for KNX, BMS, ELV, AV, and networking solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver technically compliant, cost-effective solutions and support the successful conversion of enquiries into awarded projects. **Key Responsibilities** · Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals. · Conduct site visits and technical surveys to understand project requirements, verify site conditions, and prepare accurate designs, BOQs, and cost estimates. · Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, quotations, compliance statements, and tender submissions for Smart Home, Building Automation, KNX, BMS, ELV, AV, and Wi-Fi solutions. · Design Smart Home and Building Automation systems, including KNX, BACnet, DALI, HVAC integration, lighting control, GRMS, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Structured Cabling, and Networking solutions based on project requirements. · Prepare and review system architecture diagrams, single-line diagrams, AutoCAD drawings, material submittals, technical datasheets, and value engineering proposals. · Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to obtain technical clarifications, product selections, quotations, and approvals. · Support the sales team by preparing technical presentations, proposals, product demonstrations, and participating in client meetings and technical discussions. · Coordinate and follow up with internal departments (Sales, Procurement, Design, Projects, Finance, and Management) and external stakeholders (Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, and Manufacturers) to ensure timely submission of proposals and successful conversion of enquiries into orders. · Follow up on enquiries, quotations, technical approvals, purchase orders, and project status to ensure all commercial and technical requirements are addressed promptly and opportunities are successfully closed. · Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams to ensure smooth project handover, material availability, and technical support during project implementation. · Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, project documentation, approved submittals, and sales pipeline using ERP/CRM systems. · Ensure all designs and proposals comply with KNX, BACnet, DALI, UAE authority requirements, client specifications, and relevant international standards while staying updated with the latest Smart Home, Building Automation, IoT, and networking technologies. Qualifications· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.· 5 years of UAE experience in Smart Home, Building Automation, ELV, or BMS systems.· Good working knowledge of KNX, BACnet, DALI, Modbus, Wi-Fi/Networking, AV, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, and HVAC integration.· Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; and CRM/ERP software will be an added advantage.· Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and customer coordination skills.· UAE Driving License Salary (AED/month)6,000 – 8,000 AED Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
