Accountant

Rain Cafe is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. **Requirements** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. - Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software (QuickBooks) - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Must hold a valid UAE residence visa (Own Visa). - Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain strict confidentiality. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage the complete banking cycle. - Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. - Prepare accurate accounting reports, financial statements, budgets, and financial status reports. - Analyse financial information, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to financial efficiency, spending, and accounting procedures. - Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closing processes. - Assist with VAT compliance, internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - Review, develop, and maintain accounting systems, business processes, policies, and internal controls. - Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, assign and review work, and provide technical support to management. - Liaise with the General Manager to improve financial procedures and reporting.
