Planning Engineer

**Planning Engineer (Civil Construction)** * **Location:** Abu Dhabi * **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Planning Engineer** to join our Civil Construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and resource management for civil construction projects. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * **Minimum 7 years of experience** as a Planning Engineer in the **Civil Construction industry**. * Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning/scheduling software. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and reporting. * Experience in preparing project schedules, recovery plans, cash flow forecasts, and progress reports. * Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. * Ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project. * Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks and delays. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Analyze productivity, resource allocation, and project performance. * Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions when required. * Support project tendering by preparing baseline schedules and planning documents.
