About the role

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Analyzer Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, responsible for hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, cleaning, troubleshooting and functional testing of process analyzers, CEMS and associated sample-conditioning systems. The role ensures reliable analyzer operation, accurate measurement and timely reporting of compliance-related failures. Key Responsibilities: Perform PM/CM, inspection, cleaning, calibration and functional testing of process analyzers and CEMS. Conduct zero/span checks, validation and calibration using approved calibration gases and test equipment. Inspect and maintain sample probes, filters, regulators, fast loops, pumps, tubing and sample-conditioning components. Perform leak checks and troubleshoot analyzer sample-system, pneumatic and instrument faults. Diagnose analyzer faults and perform approved component and consumable replacement. Maintain analyzer shelters, cabinets, utilities and associated equipment. Support analyzer loop checks, signal verification, commissioning and functional testing. Maintain calibration gases, test equipment, analyzer consumables and spare components. Record as-found/as-left conditions, calibration results, validation results, defects and corrective actions. Promptly report analyzer failures, data-quality issues and compliance-related outages to the Analyzer Engineer. Complete CMMS work orders, checklists, calibration certificates and maintenance records. Coordinate with Operations, Instrumentation, ICSS, Laboratory, HSE and OEM/vendor teams. Comply with PTW, LOTO, HSE, hazardous-gas/chemical handling and analyzer maintenance procedures. Requirements: To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have: Technical Diploma/ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, Automation, Electrical, IT or relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or comparable industrial facilities, including at least 3 years as an Analyzer Technician. Hands-on experience with process analyzers, CEMS and sample-conditioning systems. Proficiency in zero/span checks, calibration, validation and performance testing. Experience with sample probes, filters, regulators, fast loops, pumps, tubing and leak testing. Ability to troubleshoot analyzer, sample-system, pneumatic and instrument faults. Knowledge of calibration gases, analyzer consumables and test equipment. Experience maintaining analyzer shelters, cabinets and utilities. Understanding of analyzer signal verification, data quality and compliance-related requirements. Experience with CMMS, calibration records and maintenance documentation. Good understanding of PTW, LOTO, HSE and hazardous gas/chemical handling requirements. Analyzer/OEM training or relevant certification is highly desirable.
