**Location:** Sharjah Industrial Area, UAE **Company:** Future Group **Employment Type:** Full-time **Industry:** Interior Fit-Out, Structural & Architectural Steel Fabrication, Joinery & Carpentry Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **AutoCAD Draftsman** with a strong background in interior fit-out, carpentry/joinery, and steel fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical shop drawings, joinery details, and steel fabrication drawings for approval and production. Key Responsibilities * **Shop Drawings:** Prepare detailed, accurate 2D/3D shop drawings, architectural layouts, elevation drawings, section details, and fabrication drawings for carpentry, joinery, and steel structures. * **Material & Production Details:** Create comprehensive cutting lists, hardware specifications, material take-offs (BOQ), and joinery assembly details for the factory production team. * **Site Coordination:** Conduct site measurements, verify site conditions, and modify architectural drawings accordingly to ensure exact fit and installation. * **Approvals & Compliance:** Work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and consultants to incorporate design changes, revise drawings, and secure timely approvals. * **Standard Compliance:** Ensure all drafts and drawings conform to company standards, project specifications, and local authority regulations in the UAE. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications * **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related technical field. * **Experience:** Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the UAE interior fit-out industry, specifically handling both **steel fabrication** and **carpentry/joinery** works. * **Software Proficiency:** * Advanced command of **AutoCAD (2D & 3D)**. * Knowledge of 3ds Max, Revit, or SketchUp is an added advantage. * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for material lists and tracking. * **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of woodworking joinery methods, structural/decorative steel detailing, finishing materials, and hardware fittings. * **Key Skills:** High attention to detail, ability to read and interpret complex architectural specs, strong time-management skills, and effective communication in English. Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
