Interior Designer - Fitout

Job Title: **Interior Designer – Fit-Out** Location: Corniche, Sharjah, UAE **Job Summary** We are looking for **Interior Designer – Fit-Out** who will be responsible for developing creative and practical interior design solutions for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office fit-out projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Meet with clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, budget, and timelines. - Develop creative interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts. - Prepare concept presentations, 3D visualizations, and material boards. - Produce detailed design drawings including: * Floor plans * Reflected ceiling plans (RCP) * Furniture layouts * Joinery details * Elevations and sections - Prepare material specifications and finishes schedules. - Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, and project managers. - Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs where required. - Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material selection and approvals. - Conduct site surveys and verify site measurements. - Attend client meetings and design presentations. - Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project specifications. - Review shop drawings and material submissions. - Conduct site inspections and resolve design-related issues, if any. - Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion. - Assist the procurement team in sourcing materials and finishes. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field. - Minimum **5 years of UAE experience** in interior fit-out. - Experience in commercial, retail, residential, hospitality, or office fit-out projects. - Strong understanding of interior detailing and construction methodologies. - Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and building standards. **Core Competencies** - Creative design thinking - Space planning and visualization - Attention to detail - Strong communication and presentation skills - Time management - Problem-solving - Material knowledge **Preferred Experience** - UAE interior fit-out company experience. - Experience with luxury residential, offices, retail, hospitality, or F&B projects. - Knowledge of joinery, custom furniture, and millwork detailing. - Familiarity with authority approvals where applicable.
