* Supervise and lead carpenters and carpentry helpers on site. * Plan and assign daily carpentry work to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. * Ensure all carpentry works, including formwork, finishing, doors, frames, partitions, ceilings, and other timber works, are carried out accurately. * Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Site Foreman, and other trades to avoid work conflicts. * Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. * Monitor material usage and request additional materials when required. * Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely. * Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Conduct daily toolbox talks and promote safe working practices. * Report daily progress, manpower deployment, and any site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager. * Identify and resolve minor site issues and escalate major concerns when necessary. * Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area is clean and organised.
