Electrical Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled **Electrical Draftsman** with **a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience** in an MEP Contracting Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD. * Develop detailed drawings for power, lighting, low current (ELV), and other electrical systems. * Review IFC drawings, project specifications, and contract documents before preparing shop drawings. * Coordinate with electrical engineers, site teams, consultants, and other MEP disciplines to resolve drawing conflicts. * Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements. * Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements. * Prepare drawing revisions and maintain proper drawing records and document control. * Support site execution by providing accurate and timely drafting services. * Coordinate with the BIM/Revit team where applicable. * Perform other drafting-related duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Management. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * **Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Draftsman in an MEP Contracting Company (mandatory).** * Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including Power, Lighting, Low Current (ELV), and related services. * Good understanding of UAE construction practices and MEP standards. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Candidates currently available in the UAE with immediate or short notice will be preferred.
