MEP Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced **MEP Quantity Surveyor** with **more than 8 years of UAE experience** in an MEP Contracting Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, variations, progress valuations, subcontract administration, and commercial management of MEP projects. Key Responsibilities * Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BOQs for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Electrical works. * Review tender documents, contracts, BOQs, and project specifications. * Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and commercial reports. * Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and change orders. * Prepare monthly progress valuations, payment applications, and final accounts. * Measure and verify completed works for client and subcontractor billing. * Review and certify subcontractor payment applications and variations. * Monitor project costs and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams on commercial matters. * Maintain records of quantities, variations, contractual correspondence, and project documentation. * Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. * Perform other duties assigned by the Commercial Manager or Management. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * **More than 8 years of UAE experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in an MEP Contracting Company (mandatory).** * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, variations, and contract administration. * Experience in preparing payment applications, final accounts, and commercial reports. * Good knowledge of UAE construction practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD. Experience with quantity surveying software is an advantage. * Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills. * Candidates currently available in the UAE with immediate or short notice will be preferred.
