ELV Technician

# Job Description – ELV Technician ## Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced ELV technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, video intercom, structured cabling, gate barrier systems, and other security systems. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory. ## Key Responsibilities \* Install, terminate, test, and commission ELV systems, including: \* CCTV Surveillance Systems \* Access Control Systems \* Video Intercom Systems \* Structured Cabling (Cat6/Fiber) \* Gate Barrier \* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV systems. \* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. \* Install conduits, trunking, cable trays, and complete cable routing works. \* Conduct testing, labeling, and documentation of installed systems. \* Coordinate with supervisors and project engineers to complete projects on schedule. \* Ensure installations comply with project specifications and industry standards. \* Attend service calls and provide technical support to customers. \* Maintain proper documentation, service reports, and site records. \* Follow all company safety policies and procedures. ## Requirements \* Diploma or ITI in electrical, electronics, or a related technical field. \* Minimum \*\*2 years of UAE experience\*\* as an ELV technician. \* Hands-on experience in CCTV, access control, video intercom, structured cabling, and other ELV systems. \* Good knowledge of cable termination, testing, and commissioning. \* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams. \* Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, PoE, etc.) is an advantage. \* \*\*Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).\*\* \* SIRA certification/license is preferred. \* Good communication skills in English is an added advantage. \* Ability to work independently and under pressure. Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
