Estimation Engineer

LITCO Industries LLC is looking for an experienced **Estimation Engineer** with a strong background in **steel, metal, and aluminium fabrication and installation projects**. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, tender submissions, and commercial proposals while ensuring competitive and profitable pricing. Key Responsibilities * Review RFQs, tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and project specifications. * Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from structural and architectural drawings. * Estimate costs for materials, fabrication, finishing, transportation, installation, equipment, and manpower. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions. * Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, Production, and Project teams to ensure accurate pricing. * Identify project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities. * Maintain and update estimation databases, material rates, and cost records. * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits whenever required. * Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and within the specified deadlines. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum **5 years of experience** in estimation for steel, metal, or aluminium fabrication and installation projects. * Strong knowledge of structural steel, architectural metal works, aluminium systems, façades, skylights, canopies, tensile structures, or similar products. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications. * Good knowledge of fabrication processes, material pricing, and installation methods. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/estimation software. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. * UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
