HSE Engineer

**HSE Officer – Solar EPC & I&C Projects** Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE | Full-time **About GreenFi Energy** GreenFi Energy is a DEWA-approved Solar EPC company operating across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Northern Emirates. We deliver end-to-end solar PV, BESS, EV charging, and energy efficiency solutions — *Powering Clean Futures.* **About the Role** We're looking for an HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our Solar EPC and Installation & Commissioning (I&C) project sites. You'll be the on-ground safety authority, ensuring our teams, subcontractors, and clients operate in a fully compliant, incident-free environment across rooftop and ground-mount solar installations. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct daily site safety inspections across active EPC and I&C project sites (rooftop, ground-mount, industrial facilities) * Develop and enforce HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements specific to solar installation work (working at height, electrical safety, permit-to-work systems) * Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training for site crews and subcontractors * Ensure compliance with DEWA, Civil Defence, municipality, and client-specific HSE regulations * Investigate incidents/near-misses, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions * Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and audit readiness * Liaise with project managers and client HSE representatives to align on site safety standards * Monitor PPE compliance, scaffolding/ladder safety, electrical isolation procedures, and lifting operations **Requirements** * Minimum 1 year of HSE experience, ideally in solar EPC, construction, or electromechanical projects * NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) certification preferred * Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence) * Understanding of solar-specific hazards: working at height, live electrical work, rooftop access * Valid UAE driving license preferred (site visits across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Northern Emirates) * Strong communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus for site crew coordination) * Willingness to travel between active project sites across the UAE **What We Offer** * Opportunity to work on high-impact solar and clean energy projects across the UAE * Collaborative, fast-growing team environment * Competitive salary based on experience To apply, send your CV to [email protected] or apply directly via this posting.
