IOT Engineer

**IoT Engineer — Gear Up Technology** Abu Dhabi, UAE **About the Role** We're looking for an IoT Engineer to join our product and R&D team, working on embedded systems, GPS-based tracking, and hardware-software integration projects. **Responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain IoT devices and embedded systems * Work with GPS/GNSS modules for location tracking and fleet applications * Handle firmware development and flashing across microcontrollers * Perform chip-level diagnostics and reverse engineering when needed * Write basic application/integration code (Python, C/C++, or similar) * Debug hardware-software communication issues (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN) * Collaborate with backend team to integrate IoT data into ERP/dashboard systems * Test and validate devices before field deployment **Requirements** * Hands-on experience with IoT hardware and sensors * Basic to intermediate coding skills * Knowledge of GPS/GNSS tracking systems * Familiarity with chips, PCBs, and embedded components * Experience with firmware flashing/reprogramming * Reverse engineering skills (hardware/firmware level) * Problem-solving mindset, comfortable working independently Pay: AED2,186.08 - AED15,278.10 per month Work Location: In person
