Site Management Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a proactive **Site Management Engineer** to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for structural steel projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising site operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and client requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise all site construction activities related to structural steel fabrication and erection. * Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, Fabrication, and Logistics teams. * Ensure project execution complies with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and method statements. * Plan daily site activities and allocate manpower, equipment, and construction resources efficiently. * Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones. * Supervise subcontractors, site engineers, foremen, and installation teams. * Coordinate structural steel erection, alignment, bolting, welding, grouting, and final installation works. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project standards. * Coordinate inspections with consultants and QA/QC teams and facilitate WIRs, MIRs, RFIs, and NCR close-outs. * Identify construction risks, technical issues, and delays, and implement corrective actions. * Monitor material requirements, deliveries, storage, and site utilization. * Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, lifting plans, and safe work practices. * Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, productivity reports, and site documentation. * Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, final handover, and project close-out activities. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum **4–8 years** of experience in structural steel construction, steel fabrication, or industrial projects. * GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of structural steel erection methodologies and construction management. * Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings. * Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and client coordination. * Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection documentation, and HSE standards. * Familiarity with project scheduling using **Primavera P6** or **MS Project** is an advantage. * Proficient in **AutoCAD**, **MS Office**, and construction reporting. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * UAE Driving License is preferred. **Preferred Project Experience** * Structural Steel Buildings * Steel Fabrication Projects * Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) * Industrial Plants * Warehouses * Commercial Buildings * High-Rise Structures * Pipe Racks * Platforms & Mezzanines * Heavy Steel Structures * Miscellaneous Steel Works * Steel Erection & Installation Projects **Key Competencies** * Site Management * Project Coordination * Construction Planning * Structural Steel Erection * Resource Planning * Subcontractor Management * Client & Consultant Coordination * QA/QC Compliance * HSE Compliance * Progress Monitoring * Problem Solving Work Location: In person
