Joinery Draftsman - ( Required Portfolio)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Joinery Draftsman** to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate shop drawings, production drawings, and detailed joinery designs for residential, commercial, and fit-out projects while coordinating with designers, engineers, and production teams. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings and production drawings. * Develop furniture, cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and other custom woodwork drawings. * Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into fabrication-ready drawings. * Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to resolve technical issues. * Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards. * Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists. * Revise drawings based on client comments and site conditions. * Support the production team with technical information during manufacturing and installation. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. * Minimum 3**–6 years** of experience in joinery or interior fit-out drafting. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (mandatory). * Experience with **SketchUp, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software** is an advantage. * Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, woodworking materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes. * Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality fit-out projects. * Knowledge of UAE joinery standards is an advantage.
