Junior Cost accountant/controller

**Department:** Costing **Reporting To:** Costing Manager **Job Location:** Dubai **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Junior Costing Analyst** with strong analytical and Excel skills to handle **import/landed costing, production costing and finished goods costing**. The candidate should have practical experience in calculating overseas shipment landed costs and working with **SAP S/4HANA**. **Key Responsibilities** * Collect clearing and shipment-related expenses from various departments and service providers, including **freight, port, terminal, customs duty, VAT, shipping line, clearing agent and other charges**. * Calculate **landed/clearing cost** for imported raw materials and overseas shipments. * Allocate freight, duties, taxes and other related expenses accurately to shipments/products. * Reconcile estimated and actual shipment costs and identify variances. * Calculate **Raw Material Cost, Production Cost, Finished Goods (FG) Cost and By-Product Cost**. * Assist in product costing, cost allocation and cost variance analysis. * Update and maintain all costing and clearing costs accurately in **SAP S/4HANA**. * Prepare shipment-wise and product-wise costing reports and maintain supporting records. * Coordinate with **Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse and Production** teams to collect cost information and resolve discrepancies. * Support month-end costing, inventory valuation and other costing-related activities. **Qualification & Experience** * **Bachelor's Degree in Costing / Cost Accounting / Finance / Accounting** or related field. * **2–4 years of relevant experience** in costing, landed cost, import costing or manufacturing costing. * Proven experience in calculating **overseas shipment landed cost** is mandatory. * Experience in **production costing and finished goods costing** is required. * Working knowledge of **SAP S/4HANA** is mandatory. * **Very strong MS Excel skills are mandatory.** * Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, trading or import-oriented companies will be an advantage. **Key Skills** **Import & Landed Costing | Production Costing | FG Costing | Cost Analysis | SAP S/4HANA | Advanced Excel | Cost Allocation** **Candidate Profile** * Strong numerical and analytical ability. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good understanding of import, logistics and manufacturing costs. * Strong coordination and communication skills.
