Junior Planning Engineer

**Job Responsibilities** * Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. * Develop baseline schedules, look-ahead programs, and recovery plans to meet project deadlines. * Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks affecting the project schedule. * Analyze critical path activities and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestones. * Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Subcontractors to ensure timely execution of works. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, and progress dashboards. * Track material procurement, shop drawings, approvals, and site activities to ensure alignment with the project schedule. * Attend project meetings and provide planning updates and schedule analysis. * Assist in preparing project cash flow forecasts, resource plans, and productivity reports. * Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis when required. * Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company planning procedures. * Maintain accurate planning records and project documentation. * Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying and Commercial teams for progress measurement and project reporting. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. * **3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the UAE construction industry.** * Proficiency in **Primavera P6** is mandatory; knowledge of **MS Project** is an advantage. * Experience in building construction projects (high-rise, commercial, or residential) is preferred. * Strong knowledge of project scheduling, project controls, and progress monitoring. * Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple project schedules. * UAE Driving License is preferred Work Location: In person
