Junior Quantity Surveyor

**Job Summary** Vision Catalyst Construction LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Quantity Surveyor** with **5 years of UAE construction experience**. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, subcontractor coordination, and procurement activities for building and civil construction projects. Key Responsibilities * Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. * Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents. * Measure work completed and prepare interim payment applications. * Review subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements. * Assist in contract administration, variations, and final accounts. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants regarding quantity-related matters. * Prepare and maintain project cost reports and material tracking. * Source construction materials and obtain quotations from suppliers. * Negotiate prices and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders. * Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases. * Ensure procurement complies with project specifications and company procedures. * Assist in cost control and budget monitoring throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. * **Minimum 5 years of UAE experience** as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. * Experience in procurement of construction materials and subcontractor packages. * Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimation. * Familiarity with UAE construction contracts and procurement practices. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software. * Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. * Valid UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
